Chinese scientists have created cameras that can identify the owner of a car without numbers
This possibility is realized through the built-in artificial intelligence system. The camera independently focuses on the specific features of the car, thanks to which it can be distinguished from other similar ones. They can be stickers, chipped glass, scratches and dents on the body, fragrances on the windshield and even a tread pattern of tires.
Such recognition becomes possible through the use of algorithms that allow the processing of information relating to the appearance of the car, at a deep level. The analysis of the obtained data divides them into two categories. The first part is the so-called coarse distinguishing features (broken glass, absence of a bumper, etc.), the second is minor features (a small sticker on the windshield, a barely visible chip, etc.).
Symptoms are grouped into two categories independently.Developers believe that after some additional improvements in artificial intelligence, the camera can also be used for the detailed identification of people.
Currently on the roads installed video surveillance, allowing to identify vehicles solely on the registration number. Getting away from such an observation is easy - you can use fake numbers or just dirty with dirt or seal your own. In the event that a system recognizing cars not only by number, but also by other distinctive features, will be widespread on the roads, most offenses will be recorded and personalized, regardless of the presence of traffic police officers in the immediate vicinity.
