It turned out that the first quarter of 2017 was marked by increased demand just for products of domestic brands. And first of all, this trend concerns the market of household appliances.
What brands are popular
Analysis of consumer demand for the beginning of 2017 compared to the same period in 2016 showed that the number of search queries related to domestic brands increased by almost 50%. You can also conclude that today people are looking for products of specific brands. Thus, requests for refrigerators and freezers "Biryusa", produced in Perm, have become frequent. Darin’s gas stoves (incidentally, also from the Perm Territory) and the Dobrynya TM multicookers, originally from Novosibirsk, are in high demand.
Experts say that many even refuse to washing machines of popular world brands. This is evidenced by the frequent search for products of the domestic brand “Snow White” and the popular Belarusian “Atlant”.
What is the reason for this behavior of buyers
It is no secret that against the background of the global financial crisis and a sharp jump in the dollar, many imported goods have become “not affordable” for Russians. According to statistics, the production of domestic brands compared to similar products of foreign brands is cheaper by 15%, at least. Sometimes this difference can reach up to 50%.
But why in 2017 the demand for products from the Russian Federation began to grow? According to marketers, this is due to the appearance in our country competitive productions. A few years ago, there was practically no alternative to imported technology. Today, thanks to support at the state level, the development of domestic brands is observed, and their successful launch on the market. The most optimistic experts believe that the time is not far off when our products will enjoy global success. In the meantime, increased demand for it is observed only within the country.
