A smartphone with a fully flexible screen is coming soon.

Specialists from Samsung from South Korea came up with a gadget with a flexible screen. The corresponding patent application is already registered.

This version of the display is wrapped around the case of the device itself and thus goes from the front to the back panel. As a result, without the display, only the left side of the device appears, which presumably will be used to position the buttons. In this regard, there are many questions regarding the practicality of the gadget. The manufacturer claims that there will be no problems in operation - on the screen “behind” applications will be located, and on the side - various notifications.

Every year, manufacturers of smartphones increase the diagonal of the screen of new models, making the phones, in fact, analogs of mini-computers, allowing not only to make calls and exchange messages, but also to watch movies, play, use various applications.As a result, many models of modern phones are almost impossible to hold with one hand, this makes the devices extremely inconvenient to use.

South Korean experts have already been authors of displays with a curved edge, now they have gone even further and created an absolutely unique type of screen. It is expected that in case of successful receipt of a patent, mass production of smartphones of the new type may begin as early as next year.
