Created an electric vehicle to work "behind the wheel"
Electric vehicles are becoming increasingly popular every year. Efficiency and high level of environmental safety make such vehicles the machines of the future. In this regard, the majority of companies for the production of cars reorient some of their capacities under the creation of electric specimens.
An interesting electric car project was recently presented by experts from the China Hi-Tech Group. The vehicle was named REDS and differs from other cars in that it can simultaneously serve as an office for its owner.
The frame of the novelty is made of aluminum of increased lightness, and the entire roof is occupied by a solar battery. Nest for recharging is located in the bow. Characteristics of the machine can accelerate it to 50 km / h.
The authors of the development took into account the fact that the car is moving, on average, only 10% of the total time. Most of the time he stands idle or moves on autopilot. For this reason, the interior has been transformed. in a small room, allowing to use it as a mobile workplace. The steering rack can be tilted up, turn the chair or rearrange. The 17-inch display informs the owner about the state of the car and its technical parameters.
The author of the project was K.E. Bangle, who has worked for almost 15 years in the BMW Group as a chief designer. After leaving the holding in 2009, he founded Chris Bangle Associates, and in 2014 he received an offer from China Hi-Tech Group to head the design direction for creating the Redspace electric car line.
