Appeared device, printing pictures
Experts from Cornell University presented a device that allows you to print what you just painted. The device is a "smart" hand, equipped with a 3D-printer.
The headset is called Robotic Modeling Assistant and is a system consisting of three parts: a robotic arm with a 3D printer, a headset equipped with a manipulator, and a constantly rotating platform.
The device operates as follows. The user plays one or another object in virtual reality, the robot's hand assumes the function of reproducing an object on a plastic frame.
The robot feels amazing user. So, he moves aside when he approaches the platform, or continues to print, but on the opposite side. In the process of the machine, the user has the ability to modify the details.
For example, the task was to draw and print the frame of the kettle. The main parts are drawn and reproduced almost in parallel. However, in order to print the ideal pen, the user can bring his hand to the still unfulfilled part of the device and circle the necessary parameters along the contour.
