Very soon in California, all drivers will transfer to electric vehicles

The authorities of the US state of California want to ban the use of cars with an internal combustion engine by 2040.

In this case, California will be the first place in the United States, where the use of the usual gasoline and diesel cars reacted so categorically.

The author of the bill was Phil Ting, a member of the assembly. He is convinced that as long as the authorities do not take concrete and decisive measures for the mass introduction of environmentally friendly modes of transport, no major changes in the country's transport system are foreseen.

It is expected that the project will be submitted for consideration at the beginning of next year. Naturally, we are not talking about a total ban on the operation of vehicles with an internal combustion engine, it is planned to simply stop registering such cars.In this case, the owners over time will have no choice, since the car will not be able to either sell or exchange for an analog. As a result, the demand for models with hydrogen and electric engines will increase significantly.

By the way, the plans of the state leadership already by 2050 to reduce carbon dioxide emissions into the atmosphere by 80%. In this regard, the likelihood that the law will be adopted and enacted is very high.

Similar to California, similar prohibitive measures are being introduced in many other countries. Holland and Norway intend to stop using gasoline cars by 2025, India and Germany - by 2030, Britain - by 2040.
