Russian experts have created a car with the power of thought

Specialists of the State University. N.I. Lobachevsky in Nizhny Novgorod presented the layout of the vehicle, which can be controlled by the power of thought.

The principle of operation of the car is reduced to the fact that the built-in computer analyzes the mental activity of the driver and transmits the received information to the control center. Auto works on electricity, one charge is enough for 200-500 km of continuous movement. Thus, the cost per kilometer will cost about 17 rubles.

250 million rubles were allocated for the creation and improvement of the project. At the moment, only a layout has been developed, a control technology with the help of thought still in the process of learning, as well as a scheme for driving a car. After 1.5 years, scientists intend to submit the first test sample. The project itself will be presented on December 13, 2017 at the Vuzpromexpo exhibition.

In case of successful implementation of the development in life, people with limited physical abilities will be able to drive a car independently. This could be a real breakthrough in the automotive industry. According to preliminary estimates, the cost of new items will cost the potential buyer in 550 000-900 000 rubles, depending on the configuration. Thus, the car will be located in the same price range along with many economy-class cars.
