Samsung introduced the smart watch and smart column

In early August in the city of Brooklyn, New York, the Samsung brand demonstrated its latest inventions - the Galaxy Home smart column and the Galaxy Watch smart watch. The event itself was devoted to the new model of the Galaxy Note9 smartphone, but the manufacturer decided to expand the list of announced new products.

The work of the Galaxy Watch is based on the Exynos 9110 processor, the coordination of processes takes place through the operating system Tizen 4.0. The manufacturer plans to release watches in several variations - 46 mm, 42 mm in size, and also with LTE function. The clock screen Super AMOLED resolution of 360 * 360 is protected from dust and humidity, has a built-in heart rate sensor and is equipped with Always On mode, which allows to keep the display on.

The capacity of the watch battery depends on the model. So, in a 46-mm device is represented by a battery with a capacity of 472 mAh, in 42-mm - 270 mAh. Galaxy Watch will be released in several colors - silver, black and pink-gold. The cost of new items starts from $ 330 per copy, and sales will begin in late August.

The Galaxy Home Smart Column is Samsung's first smart model.Technical characteristics of the device have not yet been disclosed, it is known only that the device will function in close relationship with the virtual assistant BixBy. Release of new items is also scheduled for sale in the near future, but the exact date is not announced.
