IFA 2017: the most exciting new items from the world of home appliances

The most important event for all fans and lovers of technology and electronics was the next IFA exhibition in Berlin, which was available to the public from September 1 to September 6, 2017. The exhibition presented the latest technical developments, among which are models already on sale, as well as announced specimens awaiting release in the coming months. Let us dwell on the most interesting devices from the world of household appliances, which could be seen in the German capital.

An interesting novelty from Siemens, which allows you to control your home appliances directly from the passenger compartment. This process can be carried out through a special application, the launch of which displays a list of scenarios that are available for selection. Scenarios can be such, for example: “Leaving the house” or “Approaching the house”.At the moment of the choice, all kinds of functional starts, set in advance — the gates open, the lights come on, the coffee maker starts, or the same thing happens, but exactly the opposite. The set of functions can be infinite, it depends on what devices and devices are integrated into the “smart” home system.

Samsung Upright Cordless Vacuum Cleaner

The super powerful POWERstick Pro is equipped with a motor located in the upper part of the case. Disconnecting the suction pipe from the engine compartment turns it into mini vacuum cleanerable to fit in the hands. This design is very convenient. In addition, the special Flex Handle handle can bend in different directions (maximum angle of 50 degrees), which makes it possible to clean the most hard-to-reach places. Miele Extended Function Oven

The German company is launching a fundamentally new model of the oven. The device is implemented cooking using electromagnetic waves. But these are not the waves that underlie microwave ovens. Their frequency is 915 MHz, and the length is 32 cm. For comparison, the indicators in the microwaves are 2.4 GHz and 32 cm, respectively. Such operating parameters led to the need to create a special door for the furnace, unusually thickened and equipped with a metal screen on the inner surface.

The advantage of using the new technology was to reduce the time of cooking without losing quality characteristics.

The presence of a variety of sensors configured to work with electromagnetic waves, allows the furnace itself to “follow” the cooking process, determining the readiness of the product. Estimated retail price of technical innovations in Europe - about 8 thousand euros.

LG Robot Vacuum Cleaner

This is another "smart" device, whose task is to clean the premises in the most efficient way. The LG R9 vacuum cleaner has quite impressive dimensions, as a result - and more serious power (120 watts). The main "chip" of the novelty was the built-in system of "deep learning" through which the device keeps in memory the premises where the cleaning was done, and also independently focuses in its program on the most problematic areas of the room for cleaning. This allows the next time to save on the charge during the "passage" of simple sections and pre-tune in to the processing of more complex areas.

The device operates on a single charge for one and a half hours, the duration of time required for recharging is 4 hours.It is expected that a vacuum cleaner will appear in Russia at the beginning of next year, its price is still unknown.

Every year it is more difficult to surprise a potential buyer, and all sorts of “smart” systems automate the operation of home appliances to such an extent that a person practically does not need to participate in it. It is expected that in subsequent years, the authors of the development will put more effort not so much on inventing new unusual devices of the premium segment, but rather on adapting the already existing models to real market conditions. This may concern both the cheapening of the material component and the development of mass production - both factors can reduce the cost of products, and therefore make them more accessible. Otherwise, the majority of the copies represented at the exhibitions will remain exhibition samples, all the delights of the use of which can be evaluated and tried on themselves only a few.
