The electric car from "Kalashnikov" is torn in competitors to Tesla
At the international exhibition "Army-2018" "Kalashnikov" presented the draft of the car CV-1 in a new retro body. The prototype of the body was the well-known IL-21252 "Kombi", produced in the USSR and the Russian Federation from 1982 to 1997.
The CV-1 model itself is an electric vehicle concept, which is a stand for testing various systems developed by the manufacturer. Thus, the electric car is equipped with a modernized inverter with dimensions of 50 * 50 * 100 cm, as well as an on-board computer that controls the state of the engine and battery. Moreover, the calculator was designed and released by Kalashnikov specialists.
A 90 kW-hour battery allows the CV-1 to travel a distance of 350 km on a single charge. The rated power of the peak installation is 220 kW, and the peak power approaches 500 kW. According to the manufacturer, the car is capable of accelerating to 100 km / h in about six seconds.
The creators of the concept intend to bring the characteristics of the future car to the parameters of the famous Tesla Model S electric car in the top version.
Now the Tesla P100D model is able to pick up speed of 100 km / h in 2.5 seconds, and its power reserve on a single charge is more than 500 km. Obviously, the specialists of “Kalashnikov” will need to seriously improve the characteristics of the car in order to make it a full-fledged competitor to the model from the American industrial giant.
