Specialists of the well-known Japanese brand Canon created a photo flash, which itself chooses the most efficient direction of light, thereby ensuring uniform illumination of the objects being photographed.

Traditionally, when taking photographs in conditions of insufficient natural light, flash units are used. Such flashes can be built into the camera itself, or they can be autonomous devices. As a rule, one flash is not enough, because the focus on the object makes it too bright, and the background is too dark. Therefore, use two or more sources.

Not in all cases studio shooting with the use of numerous additional equipment is possible. Under normal circumstances, photographers trick in directing a flash to other surfaces that reflect light and recreate the conditions of a photo studio.

New flash called Speedlite 470EX-AI.It is designed to facilitate the work of photographers due to the fact that through the artificial intelligence system is able to independently choose the direction of lighting.

It happens as follows. The flash turns in the direction of the subject and illuminates it, simultaneously calculating the distance. After that, turning in the direction of the walls or the surface of the ceiling, measures the distance to them. Based on the data obtained, the artificial intelligence system identifies the optimal angle suitable for shooting. In this case, if necessary, the photographer can adjust all the parameters on his own.

Inside the flash are electric drives and a sensor. The maximum possible distance from the subject to the lens is about 7 meters. Body parameters - 7.5 * 13 * 10.5 cm, weight - 385 grams.
