Battle robots for the first time entered into an open battle in the real, not virtual world

The other day live battle channels Twitch and Youtube battle fighting robots. An American-made Eagle Prime robot and the brainchild of Suidobashi Heavy Industry, called Kuratas, took part in the fight. Such a large-scale event was held for the first time and attracted the attention of thousands of viewers.

Both robots began to prepare for battle in advance - in 2015. The initiators of the competition were the American creators. It was planned that the battle would be limited to a rifle duel, but the Japanese side preferred to see hand-to-hand combat. For this reason, the company took more than 2 years to modernize their developments.

The battle took place in Japan and was divided into 2 sections. From the Japanese side, one combat robot took part in both fights, there were two representatives from the Americans. To win, it was enough for the opponent's robot to lose its balance and turn off, and the pilot, the manager, announced surrender.

The fight was tense, its outcome determined the last round.The Americans were able to approach the Japanese robot as close as possible, which allowed them to drink the enemy’s working hand. Without a hand with the main weapon, Kuratas could not provide proper resistance. The Americans won.

It is expected that very soon it will be possible to witness a new battle of robots. Presumably, this will be another Megabots American and a Greatmetal Chinese production representative.

At the moment, Chinese experts are actively engaged in a project to create a robot that can move on four legs, which makes it more sustainable. He is also able to stand up to his full height, and a giant staff is represented in the weapon collection.
