The robot dog will go on sale next year.

Specialists of the company Boston Dynamics announced the start of sales of robotic dogs in 2019.

The head of the company, Mark Rybert, said in an interview that 100 copies are planned to be produced already this year, and the next mass production is expected. The cost of the original copy was reduced by almost ten times, which naturally affected the final price of the product, which, however, has not yet been announced.

The creators have expanded the functionality of the dog, adding the ability to install on its back additional equipment - a manipulator that allows you to move objects. You can also install one or more cameras on the robot. How much an additional option will cost is also unknown for now, however, it is already clear that prices will certainly not be low.

Not so long ago were published videos, clearly showing in detail the work of new items.The possibilities of opening and closing doors, overcoming obstacles and many others were demonstrated.

By the way, Boston Dynamics already has a well-known robot, its name is Atlas. The creators have not once laid out a video showing how Atlas makes a run.
