Preliminary agreements on the conclusion of contracts for the supply of trains are executed between Alstom and the authorities of several other lands. There are plans to replace diesel vehicles with hydrogen trains, which are currently running on non-electrified sections of German territories.
Capacity with hydrogen fuel is installed on the roof of the train, it enters the control system through the fuel cell. One refueling is capable of providing 800 km of continuous traffic with a maximum speed of 140 km / h. Linde, a company specializing in the chemical industry, intends to fill trains at its stations.
