Samsung has invented a screen that makes your smartphone unkillable.

The US office of Samsung Display has created an innovative super-strong screen module for gadgets.

The novelty has already passed all the necessary tests and tests for compliance with the standards of the United States Department of Defense. The authors of the development call future smartphones, made on the basis of a durable module, unkillable.

The module’s design is based on a flexible OLED screen and a plastic backing that makes the model ten times stronger than standard glass combinations.

Initially, a superstrong module was created specifically for smartphones, but later it became clear that it would be in demand in other industries, for example, in the manufacture of automobiles or military specialized devices.

Specialists from Underwriters Laboratories, a reputable certification agency, participated in tests that determined the strength of a new invention.26 times the module fell from a height of one and a half and two meters, it was subjected to various temperature tests. All checks were successful, the device fully complies with UL military standards.

Despite its increased strength, the new protective shell is as light as the options with glass. At the same time image sharpness remains at the required level.

It is not yet known when the new modules will go on sale, and what their cost will be. According to some assumptions, the display will be installed on smartphones of the Samsung Galaxy X10 line, but for now these are only assumptions.
