New creation of American scientists - a device that identifies people by heart
Specialists of one of the American universities have created a device that allows you to identify a person by his heart.
The system is based on the use of a meter that uses when determining parameters Doppler effect. The essence of the Doppler effect is that the frequencies of the received and emitted signal may differ, this is due to the ratio of the speeds of moving objects relative to each other. A special radar operating on this principle is built into the identifying device and allows you to distinguish hearts.
It takes 8 seconds to record unique organ codes created on the basis of heart rate and structural features into the database. In the future, the system is able to track the person present in close proximity, without direct contact with the body. The maximum distance a person can move is 30 meters.
During the experiment, 78 people were exposed to identification, 77 of them were absolutely precisely identified by heart. In the future, researchers plan to improve the model, making it more compact, as well as increase the radius of the device, allowing you to determine the identity of a person from a greater distance.
The human body contains many unique indicators that can be the basis for the work of identification systems. In 2014, for example, the Nymi company created devices that determine identity through a cardiogram, which sports bracelets give out. It is hoped that these new products will soon be used in everyday life.
