Principle of operation

Frequent malfunctions

The device does not heat the liquid

9. The second flange contains more wires. They all need to disconnect.

11. Now you need to unscrew the entire electrical part, which is held on 4 screws.
    
12. There is also a screw hiding under the board that needs to be unscrewed.
    
13. After that, the decorative cover can be easily removed.
    

    

14. The next step will be tank flushing. It is necessary to pour and drain the water until the outflowing fluid is clean. Scale in the tank can be collected in large quantities, sometimes it can reach several kilograms.
    
15. After cleaning, we again place the heater in its place. Bolts are inserted into special grooves and move up to the stop.
    
16. Next, you need to wear a pressure washer and wrap the nuts (do not forget to put the growers and washers).
    
17. Be sure to screw the magnesium anode to the body of the second heating element (it significantly increases the “life” of the entire unit, protecting it from corrosion).
    
18. To insert a second heater, repeat steps 15-16.
    
19. Now you should put back the decorative panel.
    
20. We fasten the board with thermal sensors, connect all the wires, using tags or pre-made photos.
    
21. We install the lower roof into place and wrap a hidden screw.
    
22. The assembly ends with the installation of decorative rings. At this stage, the water heater is ready for installation on the wall.

The unit slowly heats the water

This is a fairly common malfunction that occurs during long-term operation of the device without preventive cleaning. If you hear noises emanating from the tank when the boiler is on, and the water heats up for a long time, this means that the heating elements are “overgrown” with scum. Its thick layer prevents the full transfer of heat from the heater to the surrounding liquid. Because of this, the element may overheat and burn. With such a problem, repairing it yourself will be easy.

How to disassemble the water heater to replace the heating elements, it was said above. In a situation when the heating elements are intact, but they have a large layer of scale, then it should be removed from the heaters.Mechanical cleaning (with a file, sharp objects and emery paper) is not recommended due to possible damage to the casing of the heating element.

For safe descaling, you can use chemicals specifically designed for this. You can buy them in the store of household chemicals or in the service center.

To remove scale you should prepare a container, the depth of which will be slightly more than the heater itself, for example, a bucket.

1. It is necessary to dilute the anti-scale agent (which is an acid) in a bucket, respecting the percentage of concentrationwhich is specified in the instructions. If the concentration is less, then purification will be ineffective.
2. Dip the heater in the acid solution and note the time. The dissolution may take from several minutes to 2 or more hours. The cleaning time depends on the thickness of the formed layer and the properties of the solution.

It is important to follow the instructions for the descaling agent and not to overheat the heaters in acid. After cleaning the heating elements enough to rinse with running water.

The boiler is often turned off or does not turn on

The reason that the water heater Termeks is turned off, not dialing the desired temperature, or does not turn on at all, can be faulty thermostat. It is checked by a resistance tester.
