Rules for the use of Atlantik electric convectors
Atlantic Altis - electric convector, combining sophisticated design and the latest engineering technologies, connected in one building by a famous French company. The main difference of the device is considered a high heating rate and optimal distribution of warm air. The heating device creates comfortable conditions in the room due to the output of hot air to the external panel and a hidden heating element (for more details see the article how does electric convector work). The aluminum diffuser greatly increases the service life of the unit, creating a considerable competition among similar devices by the Atlantic convector.

Operation Tips
Install heating adjustment switch in position MAX.If the air temperature in the room has dropped below the maximum level marked on the scale of the device, the sensor will activate, activating the heating element. Electronic thermostat in some devices will signal V1. If the temperature does not cross the mark, the heating is not carried out.
After the heater starts working, wait for the room to warm up to an acceptable temperature and fix it as the maximum. To do this, gently move the thermostat toggle switch to its original position. In the models of the previous generation, you will hear a quiet click, on modern devices the V1 signal will just go out. Wait until the temperature stabilizes - this happens within two to three hours. If the conditions you are satisfied with, lock the switch in this position. If necessary, the procedure can be repeated to set a new maximum mark.
The heater is made in compliance with all electrical safety standards "Nf" in categories B and C. Information about this can be specified in the attached documents. The protection level of the device is IP 24, as well as safety class II.
Anti-icing on
This mode provides maintaining a seven-degree temperature. As a rule, this function is used in rooms that are not visited for a long time. The program allows you to save electricity and quickly warm the room in case of return. To activate, set the corresponding wheel on the pentagram with the image of a snowflake, and also switch the slider to anti-icing mode.
Control panel lock
Like most household appliances, the Atlantic Altis convector is equipped with a blocking mode. This feature prevents tampering with unit settings, and protects against unforeseen exposure.
To activate the lock:
- Remove the convector from the bracket and release the pins marked P, most often they are located on the bottom panel of the device.
- Switch one of the pins to position B. This action blocks the thermostat toggle switch.
- Setting the pin to position L allows you to limit the movement of the thermostat toggle switch. For advanced models with electronic control, slide the pin into the hole n.
Economy mode
This feature is provided only in heaters with electronic thermostat. Programming the device provides the ability to maintain the desired temperature during the absence of people. To activate, move the slider to the crescent pentagram. The device will automatically switch to economy mode and will maintain the temperature three to four degrees below the temperature set by the thermostat.
Programmable mode
This mode is also available exclusively for advanced electronically controlled convectors. Devices of this type are completed with special wire and remote control. To activate translate the slider on the pentagram hours. In this position, the device recognizes commands - “comfort mode”, “economy”, “anti-icing”, “complete shutdown”. If any of the listed programs are not set from the console, the device switches to the optimum temperature. Transition time up to twelve seconds.
Installation Tips
The manufacturer pays special attention to the need to get acquainted with the instructions for the installation and use of Atlantic Altis, and also emphasizes that all the procedures for fixing and activation should be carried out with a de-energized device. The heater is designed for installation and operation exclusively in the home. Use insulating gasket under the mounting bracket to ensure correct operation of the control unit and temperature sensor. These additional measures are necessary in the case when the wall on which the equipment is being installed is finished with facing material.
It is forbidden to install the convector in the following places.
- In an open area with active air circulation. Draft can damage the temperature sensor and cause malfunctions.
- In the immediate vicinity of the vent with a forced ventilation system.
- Bottom or top of the socket, fixed wall.
- In rooms with high moisture content.
- The design does not provide for use at an altitude greater than a thousand meters above sea level. Such conditions create the possibility of failures in the operation of the temperature sensor and excessive heating of the air flow by ten degrees.
- The manufacturer strongly recommends not to install horizontal convectors in a vertical configuration and vice versa. It is also forbidden to block the blinds with foreign objects or walls. The design of the device implies a certain location in space (wall mounted, floor standing models) and strong fastening on the wall.
- The convector is not designed for installation on the floor or operating in a portable position.
Handle the Atlantik convector with care during operation and follow the instructions. De-energize the appliance during ventilation, avoid excessive moisture. Do not try to accelerate the heating by constant activation of the maximum temperature, use the economical mode and anti-icing wisely.
