We use thermopot correctly

The unusual design and principle of operation often leads to a misunderstanding of how to properly use thermo. A modern hybrid of a thermos and electric kettle has not yet become accustomed to the habitual life of the population, and, as many owners respond, the simplest questions often arise, the answers to which are not always spelled out in the user manual.

Introduction to new technology

As required by the instruction, before the first use the thermoton is filled with water to the upper mark and boiled, after which the water is drained. Firstly, in this way, the user cleans the inner surface of the flask from technical oil or “odor of new technology”, and secondly, it is possible in practice to make sure that the device is in good condition and is functioning correctly.

Immediately after the purchase of thermopot, it must be carefully inspected for cracks, dents or other defects. The buttons and the cover of the device should not "stick" or fall.

The main purpose of the kettle-thermos is to maintain the desired water temperature, as a result, the thermopot requires electricity. After boiling, it automatically goes to heating mode. If you disconnect the device from the network, the water will gradually cool down and after 4 to 5 hours will reach room temperature.

Use and maintenance

Thermopot is somewhat different from the classic kettle, first of all, it is many times larger. To fill it with water, use any capacity, but manufacturers do not recommend bringing the device under the tap. The device is not designed for such a filling method: there is a high probability of water getting into the electronic control unit or into the body.

The supply of liquid from the thermopot is carried out using built-in pump:

• a hand pump is used when the appliance is unplugged;
• An automatic pump delivers fluid when you press a button with your hand or cup.

Another important nuance is the maintenance of equipment. Thermo must be timely descale, a large accumulation of stone deposits leads to premature breakdowns. Hard water collects scale in 3 - 5 weeks of use,and filtered or distilled after about 2 months.

If a filter is installed, it is changed regularly, usually the device asks for a replacement every three months.

Daily use of any model of modern thermopot will not cause difficulties if it reads the instructions and does not neglect the rules of operation.
