However, there are lovers of experiments that intentionally interfere with the standard settings of the water level sensor in the washing machine. It's pretty simple to do: just change the position of the special adjusting screwlocated directly on the body. Unscrewing it to a certain level can increase or decrease the standard pressure level.

Important! Manufacturers strongly advise against changing the default settings of the pressostat. This can lead to loads that were not considered in the design of the structure.

2. Experts recommend simply unscrew the pressure switch. It is fixed, as a rule, with the help of several screws, which are quite easy to unscrew.
3. After that, disconnect the tube and contacts from the sensor. The hose is fixed with special clamps, they must be either carefully disassembled, or cut off and then replaced with new ones.

Read carefully disassembled pressure switch: on the case there should not be any damages and educations. No less carefully check the tube and the condition of the insulating wiring material. If necessary, clean the blockages and repair minor damage. Clean the sensor contacts.

Now let's check the device itself. Usually for this purpose use a ten centimeter hose, identical in diameter to the one already removed. Attach the tube to the inlet fitting of the pressure switch, strongly blow into it. At this moment clicks should be heard from the sensor. Their number depends on the force of injection.

If the sensor does not make any sounds, most likely it is faulty and needs to be replaced.

To finally make sure that the pressostat is inoperative, measure it. resistance using a multimeter.If the resistance remains at the same level when blowing in, safely throw away the sensor.
