3. The pipe section in a straight line at the exit from the column should be in the range of 30-50 cm.
4. Installation of the unit should be made at a height out of reach of children, given that you should easily reach the regulators.
5. The area of ​​the room for the installation of the unit must be at least 8 m². The height of the room within 2-2.5 m, but not less.
6. The distance from the nearest wall to the apparatus should not be less than 15 cm, and 10 cm to the nearest gas appliance. There should also be no obstacles in front of the column at a distance of 60 cm.
7. The pipe for diverting combustion products should be supplied only to the chimney, if it is a private house, or to a special flue duct built into the wall. Dismantling the old unit

Before you change a gas column to a new one, you must remove an outdated or broken unit from the wall:

1. Begin by shutting off the gas supply to the device by shutting off the corresponding valve. After that, using the open-end wrench or adjustable wrench, unscrew the nut on the pipe or hose through which gas is supplied to the device. If the nut on the pipe can not be easily unscrewed, due to the fact that it has been painted over for a long time, then a special solvent should be used to remove it. 2. The next step is to disconnect the device from the water supply. Installing a new device

If the water heater is installed in a room for the first time, then in order to install it correctly, it is better to entrust all the work to the workers of the respective service. In case of replacement of the previously installed apparatus, it is allowed to install the gas column with your own hands. But nevertheless, it is impossible to do without the involvement of gas specialists in connecting a gas column in an apartment or in a private building, since the device must be registered.

The best option is to install all the equipment on the wall according to the project and connect only the water supply hose to the unit pipe. You do not have the right to connect the gas column with your own hands to the gas hose and to perform other work related to the combustible mixture.

Such arbitrariness is subject to the imposition of a fine, the amount of which far exceeds the amount of payment for work carried out by an expert.

The order of installation of the device is not original.In the place on the wall where the apparatus will be located, it is necessary to make markings for fasteners. • after screwing the hooks, hang the unit on them;
• Now we install water hoses, screwing them to the inlet of the water heater, and also to the drain;
• to check the tightness of the hose connection to the nozzles, it is necessary to open the cold water supply and hot water tap at the place of consumption;
• after that, on the installed unit, you can fix the chimney pipe, using the diagram shown above, designed for the Bosch column, for convenience, it is allowed use of flutes (for this purpose, a flange of the diameter corresponding to the pipe must be installed in the chimney);
• To connect the gas pipe, you need to call a specialist who will do it correctly and issue a document on registration of the device.

At this procedure, the connection of the geyser can be considered complete.

Installation guidelines

The installation of gas water heaters in buildings with many apartments should be carried out in accordance with the following documents: SNiP 42-01-2002, SNiP 31-01-2003 and SNiP 41-01-2003.

If the unit installed for the first time, or its location changes, it is necessary to prepare the following documentation:

• Act confirming the normal state of the chimney - this document is issued by the services that control the ventilation ducts and chimney ducts;
• technical passport for water heating unit;

• application for work by employees of the gas service.

Additionally, the owner must receive the following papers:

• document from technical supervision;
• act from the fire service;
• act certifying the reception of the column in operation.
