This model is made using the Android Wear operating system, and it works with smartphones or tablets that are equipped with Android 4.3 and higher.
Important! You can also connect the clock to iOS, but there is an unpleasant moment. Using Android Wear implies the ability to download any watch from any manufacturer. At Apple, this feature is limited, and all available skins are already loaded into the clock.
Currently, Asus offers to download one of five applications to the watch.
- Zenwatch manager - flexible adjustment of dials with the ability to change the colors of individual elements. You can also add widgets. The set of settings is very wide, and making the device as much as possible for yourself is very simple.
- ZenWatch FaceDesigner - The creation of the dial from scratch.
- Zenwatch Music allows you to transfer music from the memory of the smartphone to the clock and listen to it without the phone through the connection to the device of the wireless headset.
- Zenwatch Wellness - fitness app (tracks steps, sleep)
- ZenWatch Remote Camera - the ability to control the camera directly from the clock.
Applications prepared by Asus for watches are very interesting and functional. Android itself, designed for Smart Watch, does not cause much interest. Visually, it does not differ from the same OS installed on watches of other brands.

In addition, you can download games, applications for social networking, and many more interesting programs to your device. The only time - 4 GB of memory for very active use of the device is obviously not enough, and the battery in this case can withstand no more than one working day.
Conclusions about the device
The Asus ZenWatch 2 watch is the second device in the line of wearable devices of the company. There is a clear connection with the first model and a lot of borrowing, but there are also differences.

- 2 sizes of displays, which makes it possible to choose a device for women and men;
- a huge number of dials and their flexible setting;
- opportunity to install many applications and including games, which makes it possible to use Android Wear in full;
- magnetic charger (more convenient than the previous version of the watch, but worse than the competition - wireless charging);
- availability of protection against moisture and dust.

- active use of the device leads to braking workas well as not enough memory;
- no heart rate monitor;
- When the charger is connected, it is better not to touch the watch, as the magnetic clip may come off.
Reviews of the second version of watches from Asus are generally positive. The model didn’t find any significant flaws, and some flaws are completely personal to the muzzle: for someone, the presence or absence of a heart rate monitor will not play a role at all.
